Well-Read Frog Netsuke

Netsuke of a frog finding joy and wonder in reading a (somehow) frog sized book. One can only imagine what he's pointing out in the text that has caught his eye. The netsuke is carved from one piece of deer antler crown with brass and buffalo horn eye inlays, and a yashabushi stain.

Natural himotoshi (cord holes) are positioned on the underside of the carving between the toes of the frog, allowing the carving to be worn as a traditional netsuke if desired.

Materials: deer antler, brass, buffalo horn
