Cerberus

Cerberus is the fearsome hound of Hades, a terrifying three-headed guard dog preventing the souls of the dead from escaping the Underworld in Greek Mythology. This one of a kind carving interprets the multi-headed monster at rest in his basket. Himotoshi (cord holes) are positioned on the underside of the basket, allowing the carving to be worn as a traditional netsuke if desired.
